Benefits of papaya


Papaya is a fruit with energizing, refreshing and bright color of the sun. Cuban called "fruit bomb" because it contains too many nutrients such as vitamins, antioxidants, proteolytic enzymes, fiber and trace elements. Ancient people called this plant called "golden tree" is believed has eternal youth.




Papaya from their homeland has increased in all tropical and subtropical regions, papaya now become much larger and out of Latin America. Today, throughout the world who have grown 50 different varieties.

Papaya contains an enzyme called papain, which has a proteolytic activity and is very useful to improve digestion, it is also rich in vitamin C. This fruit also contains many antioxidants such as selenium, carotene, provitamin A, and flavonoids, which is converted into vitamin A. Many also rich in carotenoids, including lycopene and B-cryptoxanthin, together with other antioxidants that protect cells against free radicals responsible for aging papaya cell. Flavonoids, however, regulate the permeability of blood vessels, so important for blood circulation.

Papaya also contains minerals, especially potassium, magnesium and calcium from the bones naturally useful to prevent osteoporosis, and enzymes. The contribution of these fruits (especially fermented) helps you stay in shape, fight against cellular aging caused by free radicals.
